Jacquard Fabric is a complex woven fabric created using a Jacquard loom. It is comprised of various yarns such as cotton, polyester, nylon, silk and acrylic. It boasts great pattern diversity — from floral and damask to polka dot and plaid. Jacquards contain complex patterns, sometimes raised or multicolor. It has an elegant and luxurious look and is great for creating dresses, jackets, and skirts. We also have a small collection of jacquard knits mostly in Scuba Crepe.
Lurex Fabric is a lustrous and luxurious fabric that is made with glittering metallic thread. It can be knit or woven and of varying weights. Lurex fabric is great for special occasion apparel such as gowns, dresses, skirts, tops, pants, jackets, and dance wear.
The following are the most common fabric patterns used for menswear: pinstripes, checkered, plaid, houndstooth, glen check, windowpane, gingham, madras, herringbone, and bird’s eye/nail-head.
A plaid pattern is made with crossing colored stripes, typically crossing at right angles. Plaids consist of crossed horizontal and vertical bands in two or more colors.
